06. Where can I put X on the forums?

1. Yes. You can change your goal as many times as you'd like, as long as you change it by at least 5,000 words. For example, if your original goal was 12,000 words, your next goal would have to be a minimum or 17,000 words.

2. Yes to both questions. As long as you keep track of all of your words in one file for verification you can work on as many different projects as you would like. WIPs are allowed as well, but be sure you're not counting words that were written before 01 August.

3. There are instructions here to get to the AIM Chat Room, augnobuddies. Feel free to join whenever you're online for chatting, warring, or help. You can have wars there or on any other messenger client you have. Also, you can have word wars here on the forums in the Word War Thread. Feel free to start threads sharing information about when you'll be online, your screen names, and anything else you'd like to talk about! Also, at the top of the forums beside the "logout" button, there is a java based chat you are free to use!

4. 2,000 words done out of a goal of 10,000
   2,000 / 10,000 = 0.2
   0.2 x 100 = 20%

   First, calculate your word completion percentage as show above. Then round up. You cannot use decimals in the percentage!!. Next, go modify your profile (click profile at the top of the page, and then modify profile). Under the "Personal text" field, you are going to add: Wordcount: 10% changing the 10 to whatever your current percentage is. This adds the bar in your profile. If you want, you can put an exact word count immediately after, and it will appear under the word bar. For example: Wordcount: 40% 2,000 / 10,000. A few points to remember so the bar works:No decimals, capitalize the W in Wordcount, and no quotation marks.

5. To get a title, all you have to do is join a club [the word count groups] and state your word count goal. You will then be assigned a title the next time a moderator signs on.

6. Wherever you think it fits! Please don't be scared to start a thread. If we think it would fit better somewhere else, we can move it and everything will be okay. We would rather you guys socialize and help each other than be afraid to put something in the wrong section.
